When Pastor Steve began his ministry, he told the Lord, “Send me anywhere but Africa!” Now, over 30 years later, Pastor Steve and his wife, Nora Braselton, were called to Malawi, a small, underdeveloped African country, located in the southeast part of the continent of Africa.  Since 2009, through the ministry of Ruth’s Shawl, Pastor Steve has taught, trained, and discipled Malawian pastors, church leaders, and men through Biblical teaching. Nora, as the Program Director for Ruth’s Shawl in Malawi, oversees all the ministry work in the country.

Before their permanent move to Malawi, Pastor Steve and Nora served in California (USA) in pastoral ministry and counselling, respectively.
